Vintage Studio @ Bedok Point
A trip down to Vintage Studio one day before my holiday, because I want to have a pretty hair for my long holiday! I chose to dye my hair because I always wanted a light colored hair but due to work constraints, I can't. Now I can! Hehe Was invited to the outlet in Bedok Point. It's nearer to my place rather than the usual outlet I usually goes to -Bugis Plus! I kinda like the outlet in Bedok Point, because the salon itself is so conducive! The environment is peaceful and relaxing, you don't even feel like you're in a hair salon. More like a place for spa. and they just expanded their salon! Congrats to Vintage Studio:) As usual, I was warming greeted and was offered drinks plus a mini snack. I like this concept because not much salons offer drinks to customers! And the head massage is really good. You will feel the need for massage when you have a full day ahead or when you are tired, to boost your energy level. While waiting for my hair stylist, Vaness. I wanted to dye a soft brown color without it to be looking like gold or yellow, so he is really nice enough to offer me a range of colors that I might like, and also mix some colors by himself. The interior and environment of the shop. You see it for urself, it's so comfortable! With two massage chairs in the middle of the shop, you can relax your body while waiting for your hair to penetrate the chemicals or treatment. On the other side, they do have a range of products targeted for different hair or scalp needs. If you are keen, they can do a free scan for your scalp! So nice of Vaness to play a movie for me to watch. After few hours, I'm done with my hair! Love the color :-) hehe Labels: Advertorial, Hair, Sponsor

Vintage Studio #3
![]() Went back to Vintage Studio to get my hair fixed this time! Always have no time to go down to their outlet because of location and lazy :P But nw they opened a third outlet at Bedok Point!! Roy, my hair stylist is always at Bugis Plus. so I have to travel down just to find him :-) ![]() This was my hair before cutting + coloring! ![]() First and foremost, my very patient and caring hairstylist helped me to scan my scalp......the last time I did was probably my first visit to Vintage Studio!! And he took 30-45mins just to explain about my scalp condition. Usually hair stylist don't do this?! They will think it's a waste of time!!!! But for them, it is different. My scalp used to be oily + healthy (before I start flying) BUT NOW IT'S DRY + SENSITIVE like my skin........sigh because of weather + my sleeping routine, it screwed up my whole body!! ![]() The accurate indicator that reads my condition of scalp...the oiliness + PH + dandruff. My hair has slight dandruff?! I was told that everyone's scalp got dandruff.......but depends on how mild or serious it is. Mine is not those little white dots on hair but powdery kind that stuck on the scalp. (I dont knw how to explain?!) ![]() ![]() ![]() One of the indicator........we have to match 3 of them to find out the scalp condition! Nw I am so worried abt my scalp more than my hair :\ Before they proceed to color my hair, they put on some 'leave-in' protective serum on my scalp! Speaking of my hair. I haven't dyed for 17months ever since I start working. I am always looking forward to a dark brown color! ^^ ![]() Their popular AMMONIA-FREE hair dye. I hate dyes with ammonia smell! I bet u too. The stench is so terrible that it leaves on ur hair for days and when u are dying ur hair in process u have to endure that smelly smell for that hour.. Plus it damages ur hair so badly! Their hair dye is born with natural oils....so many healthy oils for ur hair! It acts like a colored hair care?! lol because it really leaves my hair soft and shiny! More information in this picture: ![]() Waiting to start my hair dye after scalp protective serum! :-) ![]() ![]() ![]() After coloring + cutting : It looks soooo smooth! Plus the color is SO PERFECT. Love it so much! It made my day, really!^^ ![]() Thank u once again Vintage Studio! :) Hair sponsor: http://www.vintagestudio.com.sg/

Vintage Studio
This is my 2nd trip to Vintage Studio! Did scalp treatment on my first trip (which is last year) lol.
They are doing so well that they have expanded another 2 more shops in town! Bugis + and Far East Plaza. Made an appointment with Vincent, the shop director and went to the Far East Plaza outlet :-) It was a sponsored treatment and I decided to go for a perm! My hair is rather short...so I perm bob..It's still short btw. Waiting for it to grow so it will look better! The shop is located at 4th floor, and this is the view from the outside. Bright enough for u to spot the shop! ![]() They have many customers even in a non-peak day, non-peak hour! (I went on Thursday afternoon.) ![]() ![]() Look at the machine and hold! Later u will see how it is used on my head! lol ![]() They have this manicure area for those who wanna have their nails painted while waiting for the hair to be done. :-) Saw a couple of girls doing it while their head is wrapped with dyes! haha ![]() Ok! Settle down..:-) Told them how I want it to be..but becus of my short hair its quite hard to perm. they still have to trim my hair to get it balance first! ![]() Magazines to flip and inspire. lol wished I have a longer hair! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() While waiting for my hair stylist.. haha ![]() Saw the 4 different colourful packs below? 4 different kinds of cream for perming. There are 70,50,30% strength of the cream and they will choose the strength according to ur condition of ur hair. If u have really damaged hair, they wont use the 70% strength on ur hair. They are new in the market and its from JAPAN. The cream is mixed with some treatment so it doesnt really damage ur hair that badly as compared to other perming chemicals. The pink bottle is a neutralizer which will set and condition ur hair after the curls are done! ![]() The cream is applied on my hair & I waited about half an hour, becus my hair is stubborn! it doesnt absorb the chemical fast.. lol ![]() Washed off and time to blow semi-dry! ![]() Curling in process :-) ![]() ![]() ![]() See this wire? hahaha its the job of the machine earlier on. It made my head quite heavy but its bearable, took only 20mins :) After removing it's time to put the neutralizer! ![]() Look like a nun here hahahaha! My stylist- Ash is behind.. :) ![]() After washing and sitting for 4 hours, it's finally done!! :) I have a balloon bob hair now. It was shorter than my usual length. I like how the curls look & I'm waiting for the curls to be looser ! Now, its easier to manage when I go work. :) Thank u so much, Vintage Studio!! ![]() ![]() ![]()
