Vintage Studio
This is my 2nd trip to Vintage Studio! Did scalp treatment on my first trip (which is last year) lol.
They are doing so well that they have expanded another 2 more shops in town! Bugis + and Far East Plaza. Made an appointment with Vincent, the shop director and went to the Far East Plaza outlet :-) It was a sponsored treatment and I decided to go for a perm! My hair is rather short...so I perm bob..It's still short btw. Waiting for it to grow so it will look better! The shop is located at 4th floor, and this is the view from the outside. Bright enough for u to spot the shop! They have many customers even in a non-peak day, non-peak hour! (I went on Thursday afternoon.) Look at the machine and hold! Later u will see how it is used on my head! lol They have this manicure area for those who wanna have their nails painted while waiting for the hair to be done. :-) Saw a couple of girls doing it while their head is wrapped with dyes! haha Ok! Settle down..:-) Told them how I want it to be..but becus of my short hair its quite hard to perm. they still have to trim my hair to get it balance first! Magazines to flip and inspire. lol wished I have a longer hair! While waiting for my hair stylist.. haha Saw the 4 different colourful packs below? 4 different kinds of cream for perming. There are 70,50,30% strength of the cream and they will choose the strength according to ur condition of ur hair. If u have really damaged hair, they wont use the 70% strength on ur hair. They are new in the market and its from JAPAN. The cream is mixed with some treatment so it doesnt really damage ur hair that badly as compared to other perming chemicals. The pink bottle is a neutralizer which will set and condition ur hair after the curls are done! The cream is applied on my hair & I waited about half an hour, becus my hair is stubborn! it doesnt absorb the chemical fast.. lol Washed off and time to blow semi-dry! Curling in process :-) See this wire? hahaha its the job of the machine earlier on. It made my head quite heavy but its bearable, took only 20mins :) After removing it's time to put the neutralizer! Look like a nun here hahahaha! My stylist- Ash is behind.. :) After washing and sitting for 4 hours, it's finally done!! :) I have a balloon bob hair now. It was shorter than my usual length. I like how the curls look & I'm waiting for the curls to be looser ! Now, its easier to manage when I go work. :) Thank u so much, Vintage Studio!!
